SINGIN' IN THE CAVE
A magical realm where music comes to life
Singin’ in the Cave is a project that takes place every year inside Coves de Sant Josep, in an exceptional karst landscape. It is a series of acoustic concerts inside the cavity that unites music with a unique underground heritage in the world.
The musicians sing live, without amplifiers, from a boat on one of the most beautiful lakes in the Coves de Sant Josep: the Sala de los Murciélagos (Bat Hall). The chamber, named after the bats that once inhabited it, has an unparalleled resonance and makes these concerts an unforgettable experience for both the artist and the audience.
Later, the performers and attendees sail to the pier, where the concert continues, this time with amplified sound and on solid ground, although still inside the cave, to end the concert. Here is a little piece of Camilla Sky’s concert corresponding to Singin’ in the Cave 2019:
